Let’s Talk: Coop Gaming

What is coop gaming?   Obviously we all have our own ideas but what is it to the industry and what is more in demand. With internet speeds increasing each year  there is no doubt that online multiplayer is in demand but why aren’t game developers creating more online coop games?   

I’m not talking about battle games like Fortnite or PUBG but true coop games like Left 4 Dead, Far Cry, and Gauntlet.  Cooperative play for 2-4 players is what we should be screaming for and not this watered down crap like Dead Rising 4 that has “some” missions that have a coop element. 

Is this something that’s untapped for you?  How do YOU define coop gaming?
