A retooled Xbox Elite Wireless Controller was announced during the Xbox E3 2019 briefing. Available for pre-order via Xbox.com and set for a release November 4th, 2019 and will work on Xbox One as well as Windows 10 machines.

Aside from upgraded durability, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 to include upgraded grips, adjustable hair pin triggers distances, as well as the ability to adjust the tension of each of the joysticks. The Series 2 will also feature a rechargeable battery that will allow for up to 40 hours of game play and can be charged out of or inside of the case with the included dock.
With added customization comes the ability to save three profiles directly to the Series 2 remote which is one more than the original Elite Controller. Via Major Nelson’s Twitter page an exploded video view of the new controller shows some additional details which can be viewed here.
Windows 10 players will also be able to enjoy this controller by using the included USB cable, Xbox Wireless Adapter or Bluetooth connectivity.
