Minecraft Dungeons coming Spring 2020

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Yesterday during Microsoft’s E3 2019 Briefing, the Minecraft Dungeons trailer was shown giving us some more insight to what the upcoming Minecraft dungeon crawler is going to be like.

Imagine an isometric view of Minecraft and now merge that with a dungeon crawler like Diablo III and you have Minecraft Dungeons! This rendition of Minecraft will include up to 4 player co-op local and online as well as single player play. Made in the same blocky graphics, players will crawl through all new locations fighting off old and new mobs. You’ve never seen a zombie game like this!

Minecraft’s all-new action-adventure game is an all in epic quest to save the villages and take down the evil Arch-Illager, which is a new mob to the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft. Seek out treasures and weapons that can be enchanted to fight with in melee style or ranged attacks.

Minecraft Dungeons is due to be released Spring of 2020 on all major platforms including the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation 4 and like many other games announced last night, will be available via Xbox Game Pass at launch. Available for digital download for $19.99 and $29.99 for the Hero Edition (pending more information).

Minecraft has over 91 million unique players world-wide with over 176 million copies sold world-wide. Minecraft Dungeons is the first stand-alone game for Mojang since Minecraft. Take a look at the E3 trailer below for some awesome game play action.
