After a tiny reveal yesterday from LEGO, the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System has been officially revealed. Much of what we wrote yesterday has been confirmed today. The 2646 piece set will include the Retro TV, Super Mario Bros. Game, NES controller, and the NES Console.

The level of detail on this console will make any retro gamer happy. From the tappable buttons on the NES controller to the insertable NES cartridge. Of course, lets not forget the detailed retro TV that features a scrollable screen!!

Mario from the LEGO Super Mario Starter Kit (affiliate) also interacts with on-screen enemies, obstacles and power-ups. Oh and to make it even more nostalgic, the original Super Mario Bros. theme plays.

The LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System is due out August 1st and will cost $229.99.
