Xbox Free-to-Play Games, No Xbox Live Gold Needed

To the ire of many gamers, free-to-play games have always cost money to play on Xbox due to the requirement of needing an Xbox Live Gold account membership. After announcing a price increase to Xbox Live Gold and hours later reversing that decision, Microsoft also announced that free-to-play games will soon be able to be played online for free as well.

If you’re not sure there are over 40+ games, at the time of this writing, that feature either online multiplayer or online co-op play. While most of us are aware of the obvious games like Destiny 2, Rocket League, and Fortnite, there are quite a bit of other hidden gems that you may have missed.
