Warner Bros. Interactive and Turtle Rock Studios announced on Thursday that Back 4 Blood is currently in development. Back 4 Blood is going to be a new AAA title that will marry “the best of what made to co-op shooter so successful with new features and new technology.” The announcement was made very early on in the development to attract talent to come work on Back 4 Blood as Turtle Rock Studios is an independent studio.

Turtle Rock Studios posted a FAQ regarding the announcement but answered few questions. What we know so far is that Back 4 Blood will be a FPS zombie game with co-op and a campaign. Glady it will not be a battle royale but will contain a PVP element. While there was no release date given, we know that it’s in development for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Turtle Rock Studios also stated they are not ruling out the possibility of other platforms or the inclusion of microtransactions.

While we here at SuperCo-OpBros are a somewhat disappointed that it’s not a sequel to the very popular Left 4 Dead series we know that Turtle Rock Studios will not disappoint and deliver an awesome zombie title. No release date has been announced but we will be following this one quite closely.
