Apple Arcade 30 Days Later & How to Cancel

Reading Time: 2 minutes

We are approaching the 30th day of Apple Arcade. Apple Arcade launched on September 16th which means many early adopters about to get charged. What do you think about Apple Arcade so far?

I signed up for Apple Arcade as soon as it launched hoping that there would be a ton of games that would peak my interest. I haven’t found a whole lot that has captured my interest other than the new Frogger and of course Mini Motorways. However, new games are being added just about daily. Don’t forget to read our Mini Motorways Review!

If you’re not familiar with Apple Arcade, Apple promises exclusive ad-free games available for online and offline play. These games will not have any micro-transactions and is shareable with Family Sharing. All this comes with a premium subscription price of $4.99 for the entire family across all devices. Is it worth it in a heavy subscription environment we are becoming attached to? Apple News+, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple Music. All great services but before you know it you’re shelling out $30+ a month (if you’re a single user) to Apple. However for $30+ a month that quite a bit of content to ingest on a monthly basis. If you think about it that way it doesn’t sound terrible.

I am by no means disappointed in the subscription service yet, but was hoping for a lot more A level titles. I am going to give it more time but I don’t see my self unsubscribing any time soon. However, if you are looking to cancel any subscription it’s quite easy, just follow these steps.

How to Cancel Apple App Store Subscriptions:

  • Go to the Apple App Store
  • Tap on your profile pick on the top right
  • Tap on ‘Subscriptions’
  • Find the subscription you want to cancel and tap it
  • Finally tap ‘Cancel Subscription’
